The Transformation Experience

What is My Dream?

Happy Day! 🥳

About this lesson

Crowley once said ” magic is the essential method for a person to reach true understanding of the self, and to act according to one’s true will, which is the reconciliation between freewill and destiny.”

Gregg Braden says the same thing a little differently because he is a scientist.

It is, however, one thing to say ‘change your thoughts and feelings and change your experiences,’ but how do we do that? In this activity we start by answering a challenging question.

Having spent time building power through knowledge and practicing with tools and techniques based on that knowledge, and then deepening that power through connection, you have reached the point where you must decide where to direct the power.

This requires answering what is probably the hardest question anyone gets asked.

What is it you really want?

If there are no impediments in your life, which means money is not an issue, relocation is a cinch, and everyone applauds your decision and supports you lovingly, and all you have to do to get what you want is to ask for it… then sit back and receive it… what is it you actually want?

For most people, this is a hard question to answer because life seems so full of impediments. If they are removed, however, it means anything is possible. When I pose the question in a live webinar the answers vary from world peace to getting a kid into college, neither of which are satisfactory answers to the question because they counter the laws of energy. This question is asked of you… what do you want for you? What you want for others is an incorrect response. Be selfish just for once and for this exercise.

To my knowledge, the only people who can instantly answer are graduates of the Transformation Experience. Most other people actually don’t know what they want… deep down… where it matters… if anything and everything is possible. They get overwhelmed by possibility and immediately fall into the trap of trying to figure out the how-to.

Remember when you were five years old and someone asked you that question? You said Actress, Astronaut, Ice cream taster!  All of the above!! You answered without hesitation and with belief and joy in your voice. You never said that your ambition for the life ahead is a slightly better car or a promotion at work. You had a dream once.

This is your time to dream again.

‘Directing Power’ means achieving dreams.

In this activity, you are going to ask and answer this question of yourself and for yourself. No other person may be included in your answer. To answer it properly requires following all the rules of energy you have learned so far. I have set them out below. This answer may take you a whole day to figure out because you have probably not thought about the possibilities of no limits since you were five.

Once you answer… and assuming it is an honest answer… you set in motion a force that can only be stopped by changing the answer. This question is big. This activity is crucial. Treat it with reverence. Get this wrong and your life trajectory will be off.

Do I have your attention now? Good. Treat this like the life changing moment it is.

To remind you: You know that particles come in two types, the particles that make up matter, known as ‘fermions’, and the particles that carry forces, known as ‘bosons’. We call all this activity ‘Energy.’

Energy is a concept and not made of anything. It’s a fundamental concept closely related to time. That’s because energy just represents change in a system and we observe systems to change in time. Everything is in a state of change and that state has rules that we call the laws of thermodynamics.

We’ve developed a concept called energy to account for the amount of change.

Forces cause change in a system.

Momentum is the property that is changed.

Energy accounts for how much change.

Therefore, your answer to the question ‘what do you want?’ forces change in your system (life), and creates momentum (Intentions) in the direction of your imagination. The reverence with which you approach the answer to this question accounts for how much change you will experience (energy in the form of awe and flow).

The following is from Three Simple Steps...

There is nothing I find more delightful than lying back to imagine what it feels like to achieve some dream. Daydreaming is my favorite personal pastime. When we were young, daydreaming was the most natural thing in our lives. Later, people told us it was a waste of time, and that we needed to be more practical. Now, we need to go back to being a kid again. It is one of the secrets to success.

When I was poor, I imagined what it was like to have traveled abroad. When I was in debt through no fault of my own, I daydreamed about what it felt like to be a financially independent person who was free to choose what work I wanted to do. I imagined what it was like to have eaten in Michelin-starred restaurants in France, and to stay in five-star hotels in Tuscany. I imagined the sounds of the ocean from my bedroom window, and the “new-car scent” and roaring engine sound of my super car.

To speed up the time between imagining and experiencing, think about something as already achieved. That way you can walk yourself through the experience with the same detail as a regression under hypnosis. Because there is no difference between thought and matter, you can think in reverse, and analyze what steps and decisions got you that success.

Exaggeration in imagination also works wonders. Years ago, when my only means of transport was a bicycle, I imagined piloting my powerboat as I cycled to and from work in torrential rain. The smells of the ocean, and the wind in my face as I looked out from the open bridge to my private island, intoxicated my senses. My heart beat faster, and at the very least it made the soaking commute more enjoyable. Years later I got to live the experience for real, and I had a sense of déjà vu because I had imagined it in such fine detail.

In your special place, start by clearing away the energy cobwebs using the same technique we used for taking quiet time. Do the breathing and relaxation steps.

Start by taking yourself back to your happiest memory, one from any time period, but the one that stokes all your senses. Relive it in your memory in as much detail as possible. Let it cover you in emotion and satisfaction. Use all your senses to bring back the smells, tastes, and joyful feelings of the event. This is just a practice exercise to fire up the correct neural pathway. Now, as the memory fades, let it slip away. Take a few deep breaths, and then ask yourself this question:

If money was no object, if absolutely nothing in the universe could prevent my success, and all I have to do is point my right index finger to the sky one time to receive my Intention instantly, what is it I really want?

Lie back and let your mind wander and wonder. Do not attempt to work out how something could happen. Just imagine it has, and enjoy some time immersed in that dream. What is it you would have if there were no impediments? Let your imagination soar because you are now in the act of creation. I want to suggest things you could be dreaming about, but I have no right to place my limitations on you. No one can restrain your dream. It is taking all my willpower to leave the keyboard alone, and let your own dream unfurl without guidance.

You may find the reality of your current situation tries to intrude. Do not get irritable. Smile and thank your ego for the reminder. Let the thoughts float away, and return to an even bigger dream.

Coming out of these dreams can be like waking from restful sleep. Often, reality hits quickly, and doubts are immediate. Don’t worry about that. At least now you have your dream. Once you know what it is you would have if anything were possible, write it down. For example:

As you were sitting on a blanket in your favorite country spot, and you let your imagination break free, you realized that what you had always desired was to travel abroad. Being a good French language student, you promised yourself you would visit Paris in springtime, but then you started a family early and the dream never materialized. Now you have bills to pay, and a college fund to think about. Yet deep down you know that if money were no object, and you could have anything you desire with a simple gesture, you’d transport yourself to Paris to practice speaking.

When you close your eyes, you can smell the rich bread baking from a corner patisserie, and hear the sounds of an accordion player as you stroll along the banks of the Seine. People congratulated you on your command of the French language as you ordered coffee and rolls at the five-star restaurant in your hotel. You imagine falling onto the freshly made bed in a luxury hotel room, the shutters thrown wide for a view of the Eiffel tower.

What you are creating in your daydream is a sense of awe. What is awe? In the next activity we will talk about what it is, how to get it, and how to use it. For now, simply sit with a sense of it as you daydream your answer to ‘What is it I want?’

*Note: we will get to Intentions, awe, and flow in a little while.*

The rules for your answer (none are negotiable):

1. No impediments means no limits. Have you ever thought that way? The answer is not a slightly larger home or a slightly better job. The answer is a huge leap from where you are now. The answer is so big that you would be embarrassed sharing it with anyone at all. The answer is so mad and huge that your stomach churns just at the imagining of it. The answer makes it impossible to sit still, to sleep, to form coherent sentences. Because the answer is about you and you alone, it feels a bit indulgent. Good.

2. The answer is about you and only YOU. You cannot dream for anyone else. That means you cannot include any specific people in it, not your spouse, nor your children, nor friends, nor colleagues. The question is asked by you, of you and you alone. What would YOU do and be with no impediments to its appearance? Sure, you can hope your family enjoys the realization of the thing you dream, but you can’t interfere with anyone else’s energy.

3. The answer must match your personal sense of motivation, which can change from time to time. This means being honest. If your motivation is recognition, be honest. If your motivation is to experience a luxury lifestyle, be honest. If your motivation is to prove someone wrong, be honest. Yes, I have chosen those three motivations because at different times they have been my source of motivation to get what I wanted. I had to be honest. One time I did a deal with two partners. I asked each to express why they wanted to do this deal. My motivation was to fix something that made me angry. One partner said he simply wanted to get rich. The other said he wanted enough money to put his kids through college. I wish I had not asked the question because my inner reaction to their motivations was negative. Their inner reactions to my comments bothered them because I was not (in their minds) focused enough on profit. Motivation is like a finger print. Your motivation is yours. Be honest. There is no right or wrong source of motivation.

4. Schedule an appointment with yourself to ask and answer this question. Treat this as importantly as you would a medical appointment. Do not break the appointment. If you do you are not ready yet for magic. Your appointment reads ‘I am meeting with me to discuss my dreams.’

5. Pick an amazing place for the meeting. Something in nature. Something with special relevance for you. somewhere that it is unlikely you will be distracted or disturbed.

6. Attend the meeting on time. Place your phone on airplane mode.

7. Get comfortable. Take a blanket, a flask of your favorite drink. A nibble. Make sure you are warm.

8. Start with 20 minutes quiet time and any form of breathing technique that gets you in a calm state.

9. Take your memory back to a time when you were so, so happy… deliriously happy… maybe childhood, maybe while dating, maybe right now. Try to fall into that feeling. Feeling is helpful.

10. Ask yourself the question. Be honest about your desires and motivation. If this was for just you and everything else turned out perfectly too what is it you want?

11. DO NOT SHARE your answer with anyone, but please do share your experience.

In my life I have only met one person who could instantly answer my question – “So if there are no impediments to getting it, what is it you really want?” She was already a VP in a famous bank. Today she is doing exactly what she told me she intended to do… in the White House. No one else I have ever met had such a clear Intention. When it is that clear, however, it is also that forceful and the universe alters to make it happen.
